Short version: we don't collect much.

What this site collects

Almost nothing. cncguy.com is a static marketing site hosted on Cloudflare. Fonts are self-hosted, so there are no third-party scripts loaded into the page beyond Cloudflare's own Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless measure of aggregate page views. It sets no cookies, builds no cross-site profile, and doesn't identify you. No tracking pixels, no ad networks. Cloudflare also logs standard server data (IP, user-agent, request path) for security and abuse prevention.

What CNCGuy Edit collects

Nothing. CNCGuy Edit runs entirely on your machine. Files you open stay on your machine. No telemetry, no usage analytics, no phone-home. This will not change in v1.0.

When you give us your email

The "Notify me" forms on this site send your email to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a US-based email service, which stores it for one purpose: a single message when the product you signed up for ships. We also record which page you signed up from so we send the right announcement. No newsletters, no drip campaigns, no resale to third parties. Unsubscribe from that message, or email us, and your address is removed within a week. See Kit's privacy policy for how they handle it.

When you email us

Email sent to hello@cncguy.com is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing and lands in a personal inbox. Your message and address are kept only as long as needed to answer you. We don't add you to any list.

Cookies

The only thing this site stores in your browser is a tiny preference for which color theme you picked (Dark / Light / Steel) — kept in localStorage, never sent to a server. Clear your browser data and it's gone.

Changes to this page

If we ever change what we collect — ship a Pro version with accounts, add a new integration — this page gets updated and the date at the top changes. No surprise opt-ins.

Questions
